any chance of Digi making a Mini-Me size I/O for HD?

it sure would be handy to have tiny interface for PT HD. The Apogee Mini-Me would be perfect for those of us who need ultra-portable systems. Since Digi seems to have closed the door on 3rd party hardware, will it ever offer this itself?
