Auto-Banking issue during VCA Spill on S1

VCA Spills on my S1 work great unless I have a group with more than 8 tracks (I only have a single S1). The issue that I am facing is when I have a large group of tracks, my S1 will auto bank to the last track as soon as I start selecting or editing tracks in my Pro Tools timeline.

Here's an example: Lets say I have 11 FX tracks. I spill the FX VCA and it calls up tracks 1-8 on my surface which is great. I then go to edit something on track 5 in the Pro tools window and then the S1 immediately jumps to track 11. It is now showing track 11, 6 blank spaces, and then the VCA master.. This wouldn't be an issue if the surface would auto bank back up to the clicked/selected tracks within the VCA group, but it doesn't seem to work this way. At this point the only way to focus the earlier slave tracks (1-8 etc) is to nudge/bank over on the S1. As soon as I make another selection in Pro tools, it snaps my S1 right back to track 11 with a bunch of blank tracks to the right.

Is there some setting I am missing here? Is this normal behavior? It would be helpful for my workflow if the slave tracks would auto-bank/were attentioned on mouse selection in Pro Tools like they normally do when I'm not in spill mode. It would also be cool if my "scroll to track" macro worked in this mode, but it does not.

Here are some of my settings.

- Auto-Bank to clicked track is selected
- Edit Window Follows Bank Selection is unselected in Pro Tools
- Mix Window Follows Bank Selection is selected in Pro Tools
- Scroll to Track Banks controllers is selected in Pro Tools
-Always Fill Channel Strips when Banking is unselected in Pro Tools (although it doesn't seem to help when it is selected either).

I see this behavior also.
-Spill dialogue VCA
-click on dialogue 9
-Banks to dialogue 24 and everything else is blank

Same issue for.me.on my new s1. €pt 2020.5).i notice this also with an artist mix at work ( pt 2018.12) .
Is there some setting involve in this?
