Hi,
I'm trying to come up with an arduino code to get a recording light on every time I hit record on Pro Tools. This was super easy on Logic Pro, since you can set it up to spit out a specific set of bytes when it starts recording and when it stops recording. Pro Tools has been way more complicated though. When I monitor all the MIDI information it spits out while the software is open, there's way too much stuff happening and I couldn't figure out if there are any specific set of bytes that communicate "Pro Tools is recording" or that "Pro Tools has stopped recording". Is there any documentation that lists all the MIDI information that Pro Tools is constantly spitting out? I am running Pro Tools 11.1.2 on macOS Sierra 10.12.4 (iMac 2017). Thanks! |
