Default Waves for Win XP RTAS

I saw a Gold bundle on E-bay. I e-mailed the seller to ask him if the Gold bundle was Win XP. He said it didn't matter as long as it was a 5.1 or higher version of PTle they would work fine on XP.

Is that true?

And is the authorization transferable?

Thanks in advance

Jotown:)

Make sure it's a full version and not some krac*ed copy. Yes, Waves 3.5 works in XP... as does 3.2 (I think). If you CAN get it transferred (I'm not sure about that), then you should be able to upgrade to 3.5. I'd call Waves to be certain though. http://www.waves.com

downloaded the Waves GoldBundle demoversion 3.6 from Waves site . doesn't work on my system with PT LE 5.3 on WinXP . Waves suggested an unauthorise/authorise procedure , but it still doesn't work . when i try to insert a Waves plug , there's the message "plugin could not be made active, because a DAE error was encountered (#-7401)" then the system slows down dramaticaly, even after quiting PT ? other plugz work very normal and quick , even at hot cpu load ...
can't figure this one out
greettzz to y'all

I had 3.2, it works great in the XP world,
I upgraded to 3.5, and its rockin,
I recommend 3.5, it use way less CPU power then 3.2

3.2 and up will work in winxp. if you sawr that on ebay i'm guessing for about $100 to $200, it was probably cracked demos. i wouldn't give that guy a cent. them dudes are selling cracked demos that they got for free, putting them on cdr's and selling them to suckers and making hundreds of dollars. when i got my digi001 off ebay, i got bombarded by emails from guys trying to sell me that stuff.
