Artist Mix + PT 2020.5.0 connection issue

Just updated to Mac Catalina 10.15.5
Just purchased PT 2020.0.5

got everything working usb keys etc, however also purchased Artist Mix to work with it. (I am assuming my digi 002) wont work.

installed Eucon workstation v4.5.4x23 - it said that it was the last. In My Eucon pref i added pro tools but everything still seems greyed out. Artist is directly plugged in my mac with a dongle ethernet. UPdated firmware, every update i could find on avid download/ support

still struggling - my artist mix just wont connect. Turns on, i have made sure it is set to DHCP connect (that was on default).

On EUCON pref, i have added PT as my app, protocol as HUI and i guess default midi ports 1-4.

Any help is greatly appreciated

EUCON is also enabled in my Pt peripherals, Etherport is off

Things to try:
1-use a network switch instead of a direct connection
2-Is Eucon enabled(in PT>Setup>Peripherals>Ethernet Controllers>Enable Eucon)?
3-Instead of a network switch, add a dual-band wifi router. This will add the ability to connect a tablet or iPad so you can also run the Avid Control app, which would add a lot of handy features that you don't have(yet)

1. i have tried going directly into my macbook & my router (no luck)

2. Assigned to auto DHCP on my artist mix (holding <page + page? while booting it gives me the option, so i made sure i did that.

3. Eucon Enabled in PT Peripherals

4. Router is dual band both 2 and 5G

on my hub i can see the blinky blinky (tech term) lights on the port where my avid mix is connected

Just to say try the Artist Series section here, Eddie Jones from Avid is very active and helpful.

Wish there was someone from the PT department who did the same job in this forum...
