Yup, there are 2 Eleven Rack stations with an "alpha" version of the new firmware. Not all of the features were ready for the NAMM deadline, so you won't be able to try everything, but most of the new stuff is in there.

I didnt say they were not showing it, i just didnt "think" they were. I remember someone saying, "Remember we are just announcing an update, not releasing one" So i took that to mean that the update is not ready yet. But they very well could have a beta version, perhaps even a complete version, running on a couple of 11R's at NAMM.

You are right, Chimp did say to bring a guitar, bass, ect... but that could have just been a subtle clue. Im sure someone will comfirm shortly.

I hope they are showing it, that would guarantee that someone will take video of it and up it to Youtube before the end of NAMM on the 16th.

Great setup! I have my Axe FX connected to the Loop and Line-In. Very flexible setup, I can have the Axe FX do the reamping on the fly.

I know. I probably have 3-4 copies on different iLoks.

The post wasn't about me getting a cheaper copy of Eleven but providing a path for those that had spend money on a 11R and didn't already have a copy.

What do you mean the 2 grand Ultra? Out here the last time I looked it was $3,200 .

Even the "regular" version sells for $2,700. So I've got 15 updates before it gets close to the Axe FX prices!

Fractal Audio lists it for $1,999.95
Benoni has the right attitude with regards to gear....The "I want it all" state of mind
is a good approach.

I think Vercingetorix is referring to the price in Australia, though it is very steep. International pricing is funny business. For example, a Fishman Rare Earth Blend will regularly run you 300 USD brand new. But here in Japan, it is sold at 59,400 JPY (japanese yen), which at the current exchange rate is about 700 USD.

Seriously...

I plan to buy it when it's available in March. Look forward to trying the Modern Super OD model, the parametric eq, and the RC booster.

I still have to dream about the only 2 request I really had: auto wah engage, and the ability to completely turn off the mic sims.
