Digi 003
Hello,
I just bought a Digi 003 console. I am just wondering if it is normal for the display to show "Pan L" by default when you turn on the 003. Would anyone know why it does that and if Pan L means that the master out is set to Left Pan? Thanks in advance, Hesam |

Since the 003 is supposed to be turned on prior to opening PT why would someone think you meant when PT is open? Yes the Pan L is normal as the manual states, it was is currently being viewed and controlled. Makes sense because of how the panning works on PT tracks. Your original post Quote:

Re: Digi 003
Wow thats weird. Mine says 003 offline.
Maybe your are trying to be a smartalex, but if it is offline in ProTools (which I did state) then you have a problem.
He's not being a smart*ss you said when you turn on the 003 you never said when PT is open. Since the 003 is supposed to be turned on prior to opening PT why would someone think you meant when PT is open? Nope, your confusing me (robob) with the original poster. I did reply to the OP (original poster) as such: Yes, Pan L in Pan View is the default startup for a 003 in ProTools. I did make the leap that the OP was referring to startup in PT. Offline is the correct for power on prior to launching PT or something that loads the Core Audio driver. Maybe we should chill. Y'all be cool, Robert |
