If you don't want artifacts/wobble:

1. consolidate audio tracks

2. activate EA on all Audio tracks set to poly (poly so u can try different tempos), Make sure u r using ticks and not samples for all tracks.

3. Once you are comfortable with your tempo, change EA on all audio tracks from poly to X-Form

4. Go get some coffee or a sandwich as it will take a while. X-Form is an offline process but it is worth it.

Is there a certain place I need to Option + Click Ticks to enable Ticks on all Tracks? I tried it near the Bars & Beats area where you can select Samples or Ticks but nothing happened? Do I have to wait a minute or two? or?

I also went to a Track & Option + Click Tick there. It just changed to Tick on that Track. Not all the Tracks.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Lars

Thanks,

Lars

Edit window, track size set to medium, look below the "dyn" button. When it's sample based it's a blue icon, when it's tick based, it's a green metronome icon. That's the area you want to click.

Exactly, but are you on a Mac or PC?

Mac.. hold down Option and select Tick for any track and it affects all/
PC... hold down Alt and select Tick for any track and it affects all.

The Option/Alt shortcut key is a universal modifier that means "apply whatever I do to all tracks".

You should be looking in the Pro Tools Shortcut Guide. And if working with tick based tracks is not clear then in the Pro Tool Reference Guide (including understanding things like manual tempo vs. a conductor track). All this is pretty basic stuff that you just need to read up on. And once you get it will take almost no time to apply.

Thanks Guys, I've been away for awhile. I'm using a Mac. I've read the Manual & Shortcut Guide but missed how to select all Tracks to Ticks at the same time. I get everything else pretty much. I was just looking for the convert all to Ticks shortcut instead of having to one at a time.

I'll give your recommendations a go.

Thanks again,

Lars
