When I ran into issues with CD Architect quite some time ago, I investigated several replacement options. Settled on HOFA. I use the standalone pro app version. HOFA is easy to learn, has many powerful pro features (if needed), great user interface, and rock solid. MAC/PC. Try their demo version!

I loved CD Architect when I ran a Windows system. It's a shame that Sony (and whoever owns it these days) never updated it beyond version 5.2 IIRC. HOFA stuff is aces; expensive but worth it.
