PCI Bridge requirement

4.2.6 readme says:
"BIOS should recognize at least 2 PCI bridges for MIX systems and 3 or more for MIXplus or chassis configurations"
What if my BIOS does not show that info, how can you tell how many bridges there are ? Device Manager shows PCI to CPU and PCI to ISA bridges ? What if yo have one bridge, does that mean that you can still do up to 32 tracks ?
Also is there any relationship between the number PCI busses and the number of bridges ? As far as I know the M-Pro 6889 has only ONE PCI bus and its recommended for 64 voice setup.
Please advise.
