Default Best way to clean Faders?

Hello DUC.

I have 3x Artist Mix, and on two of the units, a single fader is not moving. If I touch it a bit and move it from it's current spot, then bank the faders quickly left and right, it will become "un-stuck" and function for a few minutes.

It seems like there is a bit of gunk in the rail, and the Fader motor is feeling some resistance, and then choosing not to move the fader, which explains the full functionality when I mess with it.

I have a feeling they just need to be cleaned.

Is there a proper way to clean the fader rails? What chemical solution should I use? Deoxit?

Any help is welcome. Thank you

Hi Daniel, did you clean the faders? Was it difficult?
Cheers

I'd be curious how you did it as well. I have a couple sticky faders too and tried opening the unit up a couple weeks ago, but it was difficult to get at the faders so I abandoned it half way through.

Thx,
JR
