midi controller

hi all hope all is well...

just a quick question for all you pro tools first pro's
ive been trying to hook up a usb midi controller to pro tools first but not having any luck because they is no option to get to The Peripherals window.
so here's my question.. is it possible to add a midi controller to P T F ?
i have a macbook

What exact MIDI controller do you mean? Express does not support HUI, or MCU it does support Eucon control surfaces.

Yep. Pro Tools First is pretty severe crippleware, there are lots of other choices.
