Issue where I can't see edits in real time (creating fades, automation, etc)
Hi folks,
I've gotten a couple of sessions recently where I don't see edits I'm doing in real time... like when I first make a fade, as I hold down the mouse button I can usually see the fade I'm creating move with the mouse. with the issue I see nothing, then when I release the mouse button the fade suddenly appears. Same deal with automation points. I'll click an automation point and drag it, but the point just stays put until I release the mouse button, then jumps to the location. Same deal with dragging a clip. I grab a clip to drag it, but can't see the clip move around, then when I release the mouse button, BLAM, it jumps wherever I moved the cursor. This issue makes is extremely hard to make precise edits. Is there some setting in PT that can change this behavior back to normal? |
