Default Recording Length Too Long

I have a recording I'm working on that's 1 1/2 minutes longer that the actual song. How do I get the length to match the song? Thanks

What? Can you try and explain that better? I have no idea what you mean.

For instance I'll bounce to an MP3 and when I play the song in iTunes the song will be playing with no sound for 1 1/2 minutes after the music has ended.

Ah, gotcha. Do you highlight the section of the song you want to bounce before bouncing? Does it only happen with MP3s or with all formats?

OK that's how you do it. Would you have any idea what would cause my songs to go in and out of a muffled sound? I'm on OS X 10.4.10 which still has not been approved for PT.

Are you using any demo plug-ins? Some demos have things that either cause bursts of noise or cut signal in and out intermittently to remind you that you haven't purchased the plug-in yet.

If not that, then I would check your signal chain from your interface to your speakers, and also check using headphones to see if the sound is originating from PT or somewhere after it leaves the hardware.
