Help! massive problems with "Unmapped Network Volumes"
hi,
I've recently bought 8 M-audio keyobards with Pro-tools SE for my music classroom. I've installled them, but can't get the program to actually do anything past the initial start up window. In the "new session" tab, I select (for example) "Piano" and then "Choose" and I get a save box. When I try to save though, it comes up that it can't support unmapped network volumes?? I really am worried I've wasted valuable funds for something that wont work for my students. We are not a large school so this is frustrating. Iv'e read elsewhere on this forum about ppl having that problem when trying to save to an external hard drive - could my problem be that all of my computers are networked??? (after all, it is a school) thanks in advance for your advice. Louise |
