Not for me it wasn't.
I had nothing but problems and ended up having to uninstall everything and reinstall up to 8.1 which has been trouble free for me.

Here is what i found out to be true about the 8.1.1 drivers... if you have a kernel your booting from thats mounted on an iso, you'll have to transfer all your .wav files from the existing driver, and dont be afraid to rip your audio from your FL studio... Is it safe? I would say no, because if you move files to the .dll you will lose EVERY bit of existing audio material... unless you have a new interface that i don't know about (which im fairly sure there is.) Just remember to turn off digital signatures for drivers...spent the frickin 75 bucks and support could not come up with anything better than "go to 8.04, first, then try 8.1"...wasted 3 hours and money...should have looked at the boards here, first.

BSOD is how it started with me too. Then it got gradually worse and after a few days I was getting BSOD's several times a day.

It has never happened after going back to 8.1.
