You only have to buy it once - it will carry over into new versions of Pro Tools!

When you say you no longer have the option - what's happening, exactly?

It says : "The Mp3 option cannot be enabled because: Module initialization failed for MP3.bundle. The Mp3 demo period may have expired.

I have it in my purchase history on mydigi too... weird...

ALSO^ If you bounce it to a WAV file then import it into iTunes then you can convert it by selecting Advanced> Convert to MP3. If MP3 isnt there and it's AAC you have to go to preferences> general> import settings and change it to MP3...

hope this helps

I bought MP3 Option back when I had Pro Tools 6 and it still works ok on Pro Tools 8. I don't recall upgrading it.

If anyone knows of a better mp3 export tool please let me know. MP3 Export doens't remember my previous settings such as data rate. Not a big deal but annoying that I keep having to change the settings everytime I go back to use it.

Thanks
