New Eleven Rack and calibrating monitors

Hello, I'm new to the forum and eleven rack. I'm trying to calibrate my monitors(Yamaha HSM50).

I'm using this video as my tutorial.

When it gets to the part where he sets his interface to unity gain/0db at 2:40, I get lost. As far as I know, there is no way of telling what the output level is on the Eleven Rack, I just turn the knob to loud or quiet.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
