Default Different type of fade modifier while using the smart tool

Sometimes I get annoyed that I have to engage the fades window when I want to use another fade than the one I've set in the preferences.

Wouldn't be nice if by pressing option (alt) or to bring another fade type? Perhaps this secondary fade could be defined by the preferences menu as well?

Otherwise I wouldn't mind at all just flipping between equal power to equal gain.

+1, even Logic has this. You can fully control the slope of the fade while holding a modifier key
