But then again apple thrives off the PR machine bigger. Better faster, and not to mention they get to sell new hardware and kill off old machines

I wouldn't call Avid a competitor of Apple if that's what you meant to imply. What I was referring to is that the beta releases usually come out a long time before the final, which gives most software companies plenty of opportunity to have a compatibility release very close to the next apple one.

I disagree and that's ok.

Apple and avid at the very least have competing products in certain markets

And now we have a full time staff at avid not advancing the ball on future innovations but literally maintaining the status quo, across apples spectrum of OS's

The only stretch of competition would be the logic department vs. pro tools. Hardware wise, I don't see it.

- Are you working in a solution?
- Are you plan to solve it in the next release of Eucon when you implement the Eucon functionality in the S3?
