Upgraded Plug Ins - Do I remove Older Version?
Hi, question from a newbie - I use Digi002, LE, running on Windows XP Pro and have taken advantage of loading the ignition pack of plug in's, demo S/W, etc. In reviewing my list of installed programs (Add/Remove Programs), I am finding a number of (somewhat) duplicate entries, e.g.
Example 1 Digidesign Shared Plug-Ins V7.0 46.46MB Digidesign Shared Plug-Ins V7.3 54.99MB Example 2 Free Bomb Factory Plug-In's V7.0 46.46MB Free bomb Factory Plug-In's V7.3 54.99 MB (Note the same program size for both corresponding versions of the above) Example 3 Digidesign Ableton Live 4.14 267 MB Live 5.2 221 MB Live 5.2.2 75.47 MB Live 6.0.5 112MB Example 4 Sample Tank 2 Free 34.73MG Sample Tank 2 SE 288.0MB Am I safe to, or should I remove the older versions of any of these? For example, does the Digidesign Shared Plug in V7.3 fully replace V7.0? I don't want to disable anything, but want to keep my PC as clean as possible. I am not at risk of filling my system drive at this point - I have over 85+% free sapce available. Thanks for any asistance you can provide. Rob
