TAB key not working

My tab key stopped working to jump to the next region boudry. Is there something I could have done to turn this off? Any ideas?

It was working fine this morning.

PT 7.1, OS 10.4.5

In the upper left vicinity of your arrange window, directly to the left of the 'a...z' icon, you will see another icon that kind of looks like 2 lightning bolts. Enable that and see if that solves your prob.

That's the TAB to Transients control and will allow tabbibg within regions to transients but won't re-enable tabbing if it has been disabled.

...funny enough, this happens to me from time to time, and I always think something got turned off, but it always winds up being because I have a plugin window opened that I was just entering values in (by typing in a box, not moving a fader or knob); I then click on a region and hit Tab to move to the end of that region but now all tab is doing toggling around the number boxes in the plugin's window. The solution is to always hit "Esc" after entering numbers in a plugin.

Yep, when you have Waves open, don't forget to press ESC before using any shortcuts for PT.

From 7.1 onwards, the tab key unfortunately doesn't work in windows like Save, Import, etc. anymore. Would be nice to see this back again.

But cntrl+Tab works. It obviously moves the reversed direction.

It mysteriously started working again before I could try your suggestion.

FWIW, that command doesn't toggle it ON/OFF. To be clear, did you mean Shift PLUS forward slash, or Shift PLUS + PLUS forward slash?

In either case, it doesn't seem to toggle TAB to region boundry ON?OFF>

TAB key doesn't work with a WAVES Plug-In window open. Never has, I think.

But this is new: TAB key doesn't work within the Save Session Dialog anymore. Since PT 7.1 (we didn't try 7.0).

It mysteriously started working again, perhaps because I rebooted, but I have both a WAVES plug in window and a Bomb Factory window open.
