I only come here because I have to. Well, and to hear Keybeets rock out his flavorful style. I miss the old days where he'd use every icon possible in a matter of two or three sentences.

But seriously, you guys didnt get to teh stability that you're at by not posting like a motha collectively on here. my whole initial point was that if you aint on here you aint using PT much. I mean seriously ,are you suggesting that pro tools works out the box on....anything, MAC included? Methinks not.

Plus they made the new site live (a little while back) while the support area still had huge holes in the code! Support is the most important place to keep up!
Plus ALL the older links that people post on DUC that were support-related no longer work.

On top of everything, flash is the easy way out for designers who don't know better coding.

I've done several corp M&A information integration projects and to not leave the digidesign links in place until people had a chance to relink to the new ones is just a HUGE oversight. Avid, hire someone who knows how to do it....

the saddest part is how they sold it as "the future of digidesign" in their announcement, included no details as to the future of digidesign, and then it turns out it's a website that neither works the way it was designed to, nor is a great design.

Has someone succeeded in finding plugin updates on the new web site?
I feel like a stupid moron cause I can't find anything.
