Default Resending A Notice

I would like to see an option to resend the notification email to a delivery client.

On that topic, if you will, save the summary report: in the rare event a message fails to reach the recipient, the summary includes the DGD link, which you can send manually.

Default Re: or correcting a wrong address

So the producer calls me today and asks for a resend of 12 tracks for which he provided a wrong e-mail address. I'm 300 miles away and can logon to administrate the digidelivery, but can I trigger a resend and correct the e-mail address? Unfortunately, no. Please consider this a formal feature request.

Please, please, please make this possible. One of the single most useful things that is missing.

Thanks folks,

I've added this as a future feature request.

This is a very common request, and we are looking for ways to accomplish it. For now, it's a security issue: The keys for the deliveries are created when the files are encrypted. Creating new keys means re-doing the encryption. The other option is to store keys on teh server with the deliveries, but that would obvioulsy be a huge security risk. But as I said, this is very common request, so we're researching how this could be accomplished.

Thanks, Gordon

A way around this is to include yourself as a recipient (you can delete this delivery in the delivery list if you don't require it) You then get the Key in an email which you can send to the recipients new address if there is a problem with their Key email.
Hope this helps

Another workaround is to click the Save Summary button before sending the delivery. The summary is an HTML doc that contains all the keys sent to each recipient. Any of those keys can be forwarded to a new recipient.

Thanks, Gordon
