Audiomedia III latency

Hello there,
I´m would like to know information about
the latency using Audiomedia III.
Since i never used this card, and im thinking about get one, does this card can have
zero latency, or very small, so you can record
and ear the playback tracks without getting
everything delayed?
I´ve used many cards in my life and even a
few "mseconds" make a difference...

The AM3 has the same latency as the Digi001 card. The card can go down to 128 Hardware sample buffer giving you:
(1/48000)*128 = 2.66ms delay @ 48kHz.
(1/44100)*128 = 2.9ms @ 44.1kHz

Even at 256 HD buffer it's 5.33ms of delay. Supposedly the MBox can only go down to 256, thus the AM3 & Digi001 have better latency.
