PT 8 and Track Show/Hide Window

I said this once before, but it is really bothering me. I have dual screens, and prefer to only have the track show/hide window open on my edit window. I close it on my mix window, but the next time i open the session, its open again. The edit window will stay closed when i reopen, but the track show/hide in the mix window ALWAYS opens when i reopen the session. Isnt protools supposed to save the exact window layout?

I have the same issue going on as well. It didn't really bother me much until I read your post. I wonder if it is another dual screen issue. There are other issues as well, Waves plugs+Wacom tablet on the second display causes what ever parameter you are changing to jump to the max. I don't blame digi for that one!

neh, not a dual screen issue. it happens on both my macpro with dual monitors, and my macbook pro with single monitor. seems small compared to issues like ADC, but, a small pebble in the shoe still hurts...

i agree, minor but annoying. only in the mix window. overall PT 8 has been great.

i hate to complain, im still loving PT8...it has been SOLID...
but with 8.0.1 i am still experiencing the show hide tracks issue in the mix window only. (edit window remembers)
open session, CLOSE show hide tracks in mix window, save, reopen and the mix window show hide tracks is yet again....open.
i know its minor, but all of my other window configurations come up fine.

anybody else still struggling with this issue?

i frequent the DUC, almost daily, but ive missed them, obviously.
i searched before posting as well, to no avail.
a pointer wouldnt hurt.
