Pro Tools 9 HD and 5 MC: MASTER SECTION Please....

Most of my clients request for Pro Tools HD to become an ideal tool when used with a Euphonix 5 MC console is to get a proper MASTER SECTION (like a console center section) that would talk to the 5MC center section.
This is very simple AVID... Look at how the master section (Control Room, Headphone mix, Cue mix, Talkback, speaker switching etc.) i implemented in Nuendo 5 and do something very similar...

Please don't take me wrong... I am very positive with the way EUCON was put into Pro Tools 9.
The only thing is that in a 100% DAW controlled console environment like the 5MC we need a proper CENTER SECTION to work comfortably

What about an omni?

I heard the omni has quite interesting features.
However the point of using the center section (monitors, cue mixes, talkback) of the System 5 MC is that you can take full advantage of EUCON to interface with the existing knobs and function on the console.
That is why i guess all System 5 MC users are waiting for Pro Tools next update to have it all ready inside...

I was told by a friend at Avid that they are a bit delayed but working on a product like the XMON for the Euphonix users.
