Virtual Instruments won't install

For some reason, I kept getting the error message that my hardware could not be detected. I uninstalled and reinstalled PT8 LE but received message that PT Creative Collection could not install properly. I see Xpand2.big file in the Installer folder, but can't get it to install separately. I noticed the Installer folder is transparent (meaning it's hidden) and when I tried to unhide it, I get the message that the task could not be performed.

I searched the threads and notice some people have similar problems, but I tried all of the solutions with no success. It seems Avid only has the Xpand2 file downloadable only for Macs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Make sure that you are installing a RTAS version of the plugins and not AAX 32 bits or AAX 64 bits.

Also what interface are you using with PT 8 LE?

I've reinstalled PT many times in the past and did not do anything different. It saves to my hard drive under ProgramFiles(x86).

I'm using the MINI Box.
