Installation Problems
Hello!
First off, I'm new to all of this, so I apologize if this issue has already been covered in a previous post. Alright, so here's my problem. I recently got a fast track pro and pro tools m-powered 8. First I installed the lastest driver for the ftp for my system (6.0.2_5.10.0.5134). After the installation was complete, i got an error box that said "TBIA the Data is Invalid", but i just clicked out of this message and continued with the installation of pro tools. After it had completed I restarted my computer and tried to run pro tools, but as soon as the "loading pro tools" screen came up, it went to a blue screen that said "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer". After this appeared every time I tried to open the program, I figured that it might have something to do with the TBIA message. So I uninstalled the ftp driver and installed the older version (5.10.00.5119v2), and did not get the error message. However, after reinstalling pro tools, the blue screen still came up. What's the problem? Here's my system info: Intel Core 2 Duo 6320@ 1.86 GHz 2 GB Vista Ultimate SP1 32 bit Thank you! |
