Default Troubles with the cloud

My copy of Pro Tools First was working wonderfully on my recording studio Macbook--until I installed it on my Windows 7 PC and accessed my projects through the cloud.

Now everything I opened on my Windows machine won't sync to the cloud. I can still open them in Windows, but when I try to open them on the Mac, it says "There was a problem downloading the project." I can't access them at all.

This wouldn't be a big deal, but now when I go to create a new track on the Macbook, it gives me an error code. "Could not create a new document because File or folder not found (-43) while creating "Users" while creating "myusername" while creating "Documents" while creating "Pro Tools" while creating "Project Cache" while creating "aS5haReUf5QNXQkOokoGWb" while creating "OlZp5llbarDUzoLN2jctWb.ptproject"

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Pro Tools on the Mac twice (and once on the Windows machine), and it's done nothing. I've checked my permissions on my folders, and confirmed that I have read/write access on all the folders mentioned in the error message. The program has become completely unusable on my Mac, and my Windows 7 machine is a work computer so I can't exactly just bring it home and hook it into my studio.

Has anyone had similar issues? Any thoughts/advice on how I could fix this? I'm right in the middle of a huge project and I'm at a total loss here.

Advice, yes, get off Pro Tools First.

Presumably you've tried trashing prefs. If it's a critical issue you should call Avid support... but I'd seriously not be working on Pro Tools First at all.
