Focusrite 2.0 Audio Driver Crashes Program
I'm having serious issues getting my Scarlett 6i6 to work with Pro Tools. When i select its audio driver the program just crashes. Every time. I've tried reinstalling and it's still doing it. I've never had a problem with any other DAW and i'm flipping out because i need this to work for a University project!! I've had it working through the built in audio with ASIO4ALL but i need my interface to record. Any ideas?
Also it doesn't seem to be reading my Ultranova (for MIDI). It's USB connected and my other DAWs read it fine. EDIT: I've solved the first problem (sample rate issue), but i now have new one! I opened up XPand!2 to test the sound and i got this hurrendous repeating clipping sound, like a feedback loop. I switched my engine to work for playback instead of recording and it seems to have fixed the problem, but what do i do if i want to record?! What difference does the playback/record engine optimisation make? I'm also trying to get low latency monitoring to work without cutting my audio out and i've read that you need to go into the I/O menu, but i can't find it anywhere under the Setup tab! Re: Focusrite 2.0 Audio Driver Crashes Program
You could try installing the latest (3.2.2) usb driver. It's working for my 2i4 on Win7
http://beta.focusrite.com/releases/f..._usb2_drivers/ (I'm assuming you're on the Windows platform)

Can somebody tell me how to get my MIDI devie to work? I have a Novation Ultranova connected via USB to my PC. My other DAWs have no problem reading it but it's not listed in Pro Tools. Is there something i'm forgetting? |
