Default This Software is GREAT for dealing with PT 8's Contrast Problems

Hi

Found this little app (shareware) today and been using it
for a few ours. My eyes were RELIEVED instantly from the
lack of contrast in PT's much discussed graphical user interface.

It is called blackout and you can do a lot with it.

What I have done is to set a spotlight around the mouse cursor (You can set the size yourself. That gives me a natural focus on happenings in PT. I can also set a vignette around the whole monitor, providing me with a more life like experience....

Anyway, you can check out the ware here BLACKOUT 4 OS X

Here is a screen shot of the Spotlight

Very cool.

I've been using mouse locator ( http://www.2point5fish.com/ ) to help find my mouse across my 4 monitors... This looks like it would also be a nice thing to try, I wonder how it looks with synergy.

This thing (The Spotlight) stays on as long as you want and not only when you shake the mouse... Besides that the integration is great and really really natural... I am very pleased with it. Especially working here in a low light evening session.... $9 is joke for an eye "relievant" if you ask me..

Cant tell you how it works with Synergy. Never got around to installing that on Snow Leopard.

Nothing wrong with paying the $9. I like buying stuff like this from the little guys just to help keep them in the game of making cool products. Bidule, audioport, and jbridge were the same for me, these are some of the most useful software tools I've bought and all were way cheaper than a lot of things that weren't nearly as useful.
