Default Pro Tools 9 Session Plays Slower With Optical Profier 26/26

i Mac
OS 10.6.6
Intel Core Duo
3.06 ghrtz
8 Gigs Ram

003 Rack +
M-Audio Profire 26/26

So Here 's The New Situation

With This Set Up, Since Pro Tools 8, I've Been Running All My Sessions @ 24/48

So Now When I Open Those Sessions With PT9 If I Set "Clock Source" To "Internal" I Can NOT Use The The Pro Fire?

So Then I Set "Clock Source" Optical And I Can Then Receive Signal Through The Pro Fire 26/26
But Then The Session Plays At A Slower Speed?

Please If Anyone Can Help Here..
That Would Be Amazing...
Pulling My Hair Out!
Thanks!

You should open the M-Audio control panel and change the 2626 sample rate to 48k.

The Profire Is Hooked Up Through Light Pipe To The 003 -
To Get Pro tools To See The Profire I Have To Be On Optical In "Session"

When I'm In Optical Older Session Recorded In PT8 @ 24/48k Play Slow

I Try To Check If The The Profire Is Set To 48k But Having The Profire Connected Only With Light Pipe To 003
Profire Software Will Not Load

So Then I Connect Profire With Fire Wire To The 003 And Now The Software For Profier Opens And Shows That I'm Set To 48 But In This Connection PT9.0.1 Does Not See The Profire Imputs..

I Want To Rerecord 16 track Drums Parts I Did With This Set Up In PT8
@ 24/48 Put Playback Is to Slow?

In Short

If You Had My Set Up
Pro Fire 2626 And 003 Rack with PT 9.0.1

What Would You Recommend To Get The Most Out Of This Set Up..

Thanks So Much!
