Default Hardware Compatibility With PT

If I were to buy PT MBOX and switch to Pro Tools, would I still be able to use my old hardware as long as I Had The Mbox hooked up?

or would switching to Pro Tools render my hardware useless?
if that is the case wtf is the program designed to limit me?

tempted and curious

Default Re: Hardware Compatibility With PT

More info needed! What hardware are you talking about?

Another Audio card can exist with PT LE hardware if this is what you mean.

Or you can use the MBox with the ASIO driver (digidesign ASIO 6.1.1) in Cubase SX, Nuendo, Logic or even Sonar.
