Default saving issues mac osx

today i can't save anything on le 6.9.2....this was brought to my attention when an error popped up telling me the auto save wasn't working..."neo access error"...no (#)! i'm kinda freked out...I have a lot of work to get done....running a G5 imac, i downloaded 10.4.4 but after this problem happend....any advice is great advice,
