Default TC Voice Tool or Antares for vocal tuning??

Just wondering if anyone tried out the TC Voice Tool. I heard that it's more musical than the Antares.
Opinions???

I tried TC's plug in version of autotune. Wouldn't say it was more musical... each one screws with the sound in it's own way.

Antares sounds orange, TC sounds turquoise.

I've been using Wave Mechanics's PitchDoctor for the past few weeks on a less than stellar but high-budget project (how often does THAT happen??) which required quite a bit of correction. I found that PD was MUCH better at drastically correcting vocals without many artifacts. I found that Antares tended to be more of an effects processor than a corrector (too much Cher / Kid Rock effect). Of course, I was just using the demo and I didn't futz with it too much, so who knows, I could've been using it totally wrong. Can't say for TC's plug-in, since I don't have a Mix system (sniff, sniff)..

Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot to mention that bit SFX... wave mechanics blows em both out of the water sonically. But I've been getting lazy lately, using antares since it doesn't incur 100 ms of delay. Use slower correction times to lessen the "cher" effect. I've never got good results with the vibrato settings (other than "off"), and graphic mode takes too much dickering time for my liking.
