Exporting MIDI from Transfuser
I feel like I should know how to do this, but I can't figure it out and the manual doesn't seem to help either. I want to be able to EXPORT a MIDI loop from Transfuser so I can import to PT to use on a MIDI track to play a different VI.
The reason is because I want to use the MARIO feature in Transfuser to come up with interesting variations on a bassline or a melody and then EXPORT those back out as MIDI to play whatever VI's I wish. Importing the initial MIDI loop into Transfuser is no problem. But, once I've created some variations with MARIO, I can't see how to export any of the new MIDI variations out to use elsewhere. This video shows it being done with Cubase using drag/drop...but that won't work with PT, and I can't see an option to export MIDI either. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Re: Exporting MIDI from Transfuser
It seems to be working for me in Pro Tools Ultimate 2018.10
Dragging from the Pattern Key into a MIDI track.

Hi Brian, Are you Windows or Mac? I'm using PT 2018.10 on Win-10 Pro. It will not let me drag/drop. I must be doing it incorrectly. When you say the "pattern key" I assume you mean the note (C1-C2) that triggers the individual pattern? I've tried that, and no joy. I've tried dragging off the seq section of the track module. I can't seem to get this to work for me. Clearly I'm missing a step somewhere. In the video I shared, he drags it directly off the sequence screen at the bottom of the Transfuser interface. I can't do that either. It only highlights individual notes. For something so simple, this is proving to be difficult!

Re: Exporting MIDI from Transfuser
Brian, - I finally got it to work. I wasn't dragging from the right spot in transfuser. Anything in the Sequence mode is duplicated as MIDI notes in the PT MIDI track when I drag it over. But in Slice mode it doesn't replicate the MIDI sequence. I'm wondering if there's a way to convert the Slice mode into Sequence data so you can replicate the actual MIDI notes as they are played in Transfuser. Is that even possible?
