Pro Tools 9.0.6 on Mountain Lion Issue
I just got a new Apple Macbook pro laptop it's running Mountain Lion.
13-inch: 2.5 GHz 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz 4GB 1600MHz memory 500GB 5400-rpm hard drive Intel HD Graphics 4000 It comes pre-installed with Mountain Lion but it has this new feature when you go into recovery mode it will log into Apple and download Mountain Lion so I can't use a Lion disc to erase the drive and install as it blocks you downgrading. I see 10.0.3 of Pro Tools is Mountain Lion compatible but I don't really want to spend more money on another upgrade so it works with this OS. Pro Tools 9.0.6 works fine for me now. When is a version for version 9 coming which will work on Mountain Lion? I tried 9.0.6 but I was getting CPU pverload error messages on creating a few secs of signal generation and trying to play it back through the Mac speakers. Thanks, Leo |
