No sound at all when cable plugged into Pro Tools Express

Hi guys,

I've had an on-again off-again issue, where, if I plug my speaker cables into my Fast Track Solo box, there is no playback at all. This happened in the past, and then mysteriously stopped, and then started again. All my drivers are up to date, but this very frustrating, as it is nigh impossible to record with no playback. It is not my cables, as they work just fine when plugged directly into my PC sound card.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

A bit more info: I did a test - I exported MIDI drums from Guitar Pro (as I usually) do, Imported the MIDI into Pro Tools, and added the Addictive Drums plug in. All went smoothly as usual, but still, no audio from Media Player/VLC/Pro Tools. Anyway, bounced the drum track, plugged my speakers back into my PC, and played it, and it was fine. So the issue is with the box - the speaker cable makes a noise if I tap the jack, but the moment I plug it into the box, no play back.

Yea same here I get no sound thru my speakers only my Headphones...makes no sense
