Default Help Mapping I/O for 2 RME HDSPe Cards

Each card has 26 i/o at 44.1k for a total of 52 channels to be mapped. At 96k the channels I have 26 i/o which includes the spdif.

I have successfully mapped 18 channels of output audio at 24/96 using the default that Pro Tools sees. For some reason, Pro Tools is not mapping the other 6 channels. Any ideas? I have the Complete Tool Kit

1. I hit the default button and took all the I/O that protools had. I successfully have crossed cards into the second card, but after 6 channels of audio on the second card the mapping quits working. So I am left with 6 channels left to map. Any ideas on how to get this to work.
2. Everything is clocked correctly.

Any help on this is appreciated. Avid did provide a complimentary support ticket, but I never used it and guess what my 60 days are up. Not sure why they do not let you use the bloody support help when you need it.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Jeff

Sorry to give you bad news, but ProTools can only use the first 32 consecutive ins and first 32 consecutive outs of your interface--and you can't pick and choose which ones.

I sold my 3 RME interfaces because of this, and bought a single MOTU which works great.

Is this true even if you have the complete tool kit? By the way, which MOTU interface do you have?
