High Sierra remembering folder settings?
Hi, this issue has plagued me since yosemite, el crap and sierra on 3 different machines.. including fresh installs.
Sierra is the worst... It literally will NOT remember my "protected" folder view settings (mac HD root, applications folder, plugins folder, etc) after a reboot., Sometimes it forgets them after a day or so and when i haven't rebooted at all. I will be honest, it drives me crazy.. It's so annoying that this was one of the main reasons i considered switching to windows. Can anyone tell me how high sierra behaves for them in this regard? does it remember whether list or icon, size, sort method and spacing? Would really love to know this if anyone can tell me. Thanks in advance.
