Default Eleven rack issue

I am having a hard time getting the eleven rack to pick up my guitar when I plug it in. It seems to be dependent on which guitar I use. Is this a standard issue, am I forgetting or have I missed something, or do I need to get it in for repairs. If I turn it off then on again a couple of times it picks up the guitar and I am off and running.

Is this just in Pro Tools or even when just using the 11R with PT not running.

Did this just start, or has it been acting like this since you got your 11R?

Does not matter if PT is up or not, but I have not spent much time checking on that, I will only try starting the eleven rack with PT up and running. It has been an issue from the beginning but when I went from my electric with Humbuckers to my acoustic with a transducer it seems to be worse.

Any chance this might be related to the cable and not the guitar?

I had a bit of a problem with the input jack on my 11R. It developed some oxidation; moving the plug slightly would make the signal cut in and out. A tiny bit of contact cleaner on the plug, inserted and removed several times, removed the oxidation and corrected the problem.

Again, if there's a complete signal loss that's only dependent on the guitar, I'd suspect some kind of connection issue. Some kind of fault either in the cable itself, or the guitar, or the connection at either end of the cable.
