Default PT Prefs..

Hi there,
Anyone thinks that we should have a separate undo window for Fader movement or at least the option of turning this off??
It can be really annoying at least to me!!
Also why the Hell hasn't the two arrow on the channel strip that used to show Fader position/movement prior to click release haven't worked since version 6.x??
...Finding this really annoying, I know Digi have bigger fishes to catch with 7.4 being a bit buggy and still not supported for PPC G5 running 10.5, but why did this change on the first place and hasn't been fixed since? Seems like a simple thing to sort out, or what is the point of having the two arrows on the strip at all??

Prefs/Mixing/Automation- deselect "Include Control Changes in Undo Queue"

The arrows work perfectly. They tell you which direction to go to seamlessly rejoin existing automation data. If the track has none, they have nothing to do. Make sense?

I think what the previous poster meant was..'We need two different kinds of Undo":

1) Edit Undo
2) Mixer Undo

I'd find that v.handy

Hi,
sorry, did not realise there was an exclude controlller data checkbox in the prefs.. there wasnt one in 6.9 was it?
I have Just upgraded to 7.4 from 6.9 few days ago still getting my head around lots of new things... or did i miss it... oops!!
Thanks!!

...Yep, the arrows do work, but didn't they work also prior to having any automation point? i kind of remember that from version 6.4 i think?? or was it a cool bug? Ha ha!!

2 separate undo cues one for the Mix and one for the rest would be very nice!!

Have a Nice Eve/Day everyone

I was answering this part.

I think it'd be cool too for it to be separate.

Perhaps you already did do this, but just in case…
Download the “What’s new in HD 7.X” docs for every version released between 6.9 and 7.4 and you’ll have everything that’s new at your fingertips.

IHTH.

Hi Andre,

cheers,
i did a while ago, as i had 7.2/7.3 on a separate drive but haven't used it much due to PT7 not supporting HTDM, and as i had a baby 1.6 SP G5 until a month ago could not run certain plugs as RTAS without crapping out the computer and ended up using V7 only when i needed some better time stretching...
So it has been more a lack of use rather than laziness..

Loving 7.4, though i have noticed a few strange things...
