Avid MC AAF export to Pro Tools (Region/Clip name)
Hi,
I`ve been starting to read up on Pro Tools, to start getting into sound mixing along with picture editing (Avid MC) for clients. I`m still saving up for a copy of Pro Tools, and the trial requires an iLok key, so I can`t test this out myself. When importing an AAF/OMF from Avid MC, and Pro Tools names the region (clip in PT 10)... Does the Pro Tools use the same name of the audio clip as it is shown in the Media Composer timeline? Say, I have an autosynced clip for a B Camera in Media Composer, and I place that on the timeline, so both the video clip and its accompanying audio clip read "1A-1(B)" Will Pro Tools have that region/clip named as "1A-1(B)" also? Thanks |
