WTH is an "embedded fade"? (PT8 Elastic Audio error)

I'm trying to enable elastic audio on certain tracks but I'm getting the message "Could not complete your request because region groups with embedded fades are not supported on Elastic Audio-enabled tracks." I got the session from someone else, so it's possible there's something going on/some setting on the tracks I'm not seeing, but they look like perfectly typical tracks to me, and this has never happened before. Any ideas?

Hi! i had the same problem and i found that the waveform was "grouped" select all the waveform, right click then click "ungroup". Hope this help :P

if only region groups with embedded fades on elastic audio enabled tracks was possible, I would use region groups a lot more :-(
