We need to know exactly what you did to cause this error. Were you using a plugin? If so, which one? Is it compatible with version 7?

Had you imported audio into a session from CD/DVD? If so, are the imported files set to "Read Only"?

The error can be caused by a number of different things, so we would need to know exactly what you did that caused the error to appear.

Are you using any plugins in this session? If so, which ones? Are they version 7 compatible?

How and where is/was the older session stored? Have you ensured that all the files in the session folder are not "Read Only". (I think I'm repeating myself here...)

Did you trash your prefs and databases as recommended in the General Troubleshooting thread?
