Let's hope not. Although the old HD systems are ready for at least a facelift, the real shortfalls are in Native. But I am sure Avid knows this and more will follow shortly.

Very surprised there is no firewire so le users could use new interface natively. Im not very excited at all.

at least this SORT of means new interfaces are on the way for LE, maybe we wont have to wait until AES after all?

I agree. I liked the HD Omni as a replacement for Digi 003R but after reading your post I realized that it has no Firewire so you still have to buy a core card if I'm right.

I presume they will release an updated/overhauled version of Digi 003R with some minor but long expected new features in the software version of PT. PDC being the most awaited. Just to keep us customers almost happy... I'm still dissapointed.
