Pro Tools 10 isn't supported on Mavericks, I'm not sure if that is the cause of your problems or not.

What audio device are you using? Have you downloaded the latest drivers for it?

I am using an MBox.

I believe I did use all the new drivers.

When they say it isn't supported... what exactly does that mean?

sorry for being a noob.

So the error actually is CPU usage holding off USB audio. -6104

and then it goes through the buffer error as well.

Could this be because the external hard drive I am running off of isn't 7200 rpm??
