PT 10: A simple but maybe useful tip
Hi Guys,
I don't often post, but lurk listening and watching etc. But the other day I thought of a little thing I might share. Many of you are probably doing something like this, but here goes... The new clip gain function is wonderful, but there is no key command for toggling the clip gain view (line). So, if you are running OSX and have a hankering for such, then try the following.. You may, as I have, wish to extend the possibilities with other commands from the menu bar. Goto 'System Preferences' and select the 'Keyboard' tab. Select 'Application Shortcuts' and then '+' Type in the exact nam of the function you wish to operate and assign an unused command to it. In the following, I've assigned F16 to the Clip Gain line and you'll also note a couple of others that I've found to be useful. Note, the command can also be a part of a sub menu, as in the case of the Audiosuite menu for example. https://img.skitch.com/20111031-tf55...ddj3fpuyg9.jpg As I siad, many of you are probably already utilising this little gem, but for those that haven't, it might be handy. Regards, Matt

control, shift, minus does it for me. There must be a better way to write that out. Not sure how to type the symbols but you've got it.

Ah yes, it certainly does! I still like the idea of being able to customise pretty much anything.
