Default AARGH: Assertion in "E:\ Code\ 238949\ ProTools\ AAE\ Source\ AAX\ CFicAAXWidget.cpp"

"Could not complete your request because Assertion in "E:\ Code\ 238949\ ProTools\ AAE\ Source\ AAX\ CFicAAXWidget.cpp", line 994."

Install went fine. On launching FIRST, above appears.

- Tried pressing N key on startup, nothing.

- Deleted Settings directory and Cache, no change.

I'm floored that a "professional software" issues such an error in 2020...!

If Avid would like to someday convince me to pay hard cash for their software they just lost me.

(The Cakewalk DAW is free btw.. and works.. )

Just registering for this forum was a pain in the ass. Amongst other insanely stupid questions I don't know (or care) what how all the different avid softwares are called.
